Do these look similar to you? Judging by its logo, the ROM - Royal Ontario Museum - is run by or affiliated with Romanians.

Alright, so the "ROM" acronym has been around for decades. It does happen to be the same as the abbreviation every sports channel uses in its score box when Romania is playing, but that's nothing odd.

However, to then rebrand the museum to make its logo prominently feature the ROM acronym, along with three polygons in almost the exact colors of the Romanian flag?!?? ... That is just bizarre.

Sure Romania is five thousand miles away from Toronto, but you would think that one of these smart museum folk would have recognized the uncomfortable level of similarity. Who was at that meeting when this was approved? Did they think to say anything?
