F1 Goes East

This graph breaks down per continent all Formula One races from 1950 to (projected) 2009:

Source: Wikipedia
Races in Mexico are depicted as half North America half South America, and races in Turkey as half Europe half Asia.

2009 is the first year ever that there will be no North American race.
Prior to 1999, Japan was the only Asian country to host an F1 race.
In 2009, 6½ of the 17 races will be Asian, with another one in Australia.
That's an incredible shift east in just a decade.

Hate the half-squares, otherwise it's an interesting chart. Might be interesting to contrast with fucken NASCAR.

Not some lame public diary, just a way to occasionally publish stuff.

I like Gennaro Gattuso a lot, and I sort of look like him, but I'm fat.
